For the first time since 1938 William Hill are odds-on (4/9) that a British player will make it into the final of the Men’s Wimbledon Championship.
Sadly, the odds suggest that winning may be a step too far for Andy Murray and he is 10/11 to finish the tournament as runner-up. The second semi-final will be a massive affair, with Novak Djokovic 2/5 to beat the great Roger Federer, who is 2/1 to make it to the final.
“There can be no doubt that the public & punters are getting behind Murray to win Wimbledon this year and hopefully victory on Sunday will open the floodgates for major victories,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
