Andy Murray defeated Roger Federer in the semi final of the Shanghai Masters and William Hill make him 6/5 to defeat Novak Djokovic in the final. Andy Murray is 6/1 to win the Shanghai title and also the World Tour Championships in November at the o2.
William Hill also offer 2/1 that Andy Murray finishes next season as World number one.
“Roger Federer’s Indian summer appears to be coming to an end, Nadal’s knee does not seem to be able to hold up to the rigours of a full season on the Tour and Novak Djokovic is not as invincible as he was in 2011. There is nothing to stop Andy from continuing his progress from this year and becoming top dog in 2013,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
